蒸发皿灼烧提取海带灰,过滤器提取滤液。分液漏斗就是将滤液中的碘单质萃取到有机溶剂中,最后用蒸馏装置将碘单质提取出来
1、先将已经刷净表面附着物的干海带剪碎并放入坩埚中压挤。再向坩埚内加入少量酒精,使海带润湿以便于灼烧。将坩埚放在三脚架的泥三角上,盖上坩埚盖。(点燃酒精灯,将酒精灯放在的三脚架下,灼烧盛有海带的坩埚。经过长时间的灼烧,直至海带完全变成灰后,停止加热并冷却。

2、等坩埚完全冷却后,(都是用坩埚钳操作)打开坩埚盖,将坩埚中的海带灰倒入烧杯中。再向烧杯中加入少量的蒸馏水,用玻璃棒充分搅拌。再把烧杯放在三脚架的石棉网上,用酒精灯在石棉网下方加热。直至溶液煮沸2~3分钟后,移去酒精灯,使烧杯完全冷却。

3、然后将混合物倒入过滤器中过滤。过滤结束后取出滤液。向滤液中滴加几滴稀硫酸,旋摇溶液(用来酸化溶液)。再将质量分数为5%的过氧化氢加入这只烧杯中,旋摇溶液,看不到发生变化的现象。

4、向刚才滴加过稀硫酸、过氧化氢的"混"合溶液分别装入两支试管中。向其中的一支试管中注入少量淀粉溶液。振荡试管 可以看到溶液呈蓝色。这说明海带中含有成份碘。向另一支试管中滴加四氯化碳,充分振荡 静置分层后可以看到,下层四氯化碳层因溶有碘而呈特殊的紫色。这是由于,过氧化氢将碘离子氧化成碘,而碘又溶于四氯化碳的原因

5、将二者分分液,之后将碘的四氯化碳进行蒸馏
