In the ancient dynasty, the monarch selected Tai mountain as a place to worship God with all kinds of sacrifice. According to the history, there were altogether 72 monarchs been to Tai mountain to worship before west Zhou Dynasty. Since then, Qing emperor, the first emperor in Chinese history, as well as Han, Tang, Song, Qing etc. emperors had been to Tai mountain to worship the lord.
