Last Monday,father when abroad for his work and he wouldn't come back until three days later.Mother and I saw him off at the gate of our community in the morning.We said we loved him and wished him good luck.Then he headed for the airport by taxi.
Afterwards, in order to get prepared for the national exam coming few weeks later,I concentrated on my study and spared no efforts doing homework. However, in the afternoon, I was distracted by the sounds of coughing made by my mom. So I went to mom’s room and only to find that she was lying on the bed weakly. Her face was place and she began to cough more and more frequently.
I put my hand on her forehead at once and it turned out that she had a serious fever which made her even not able to move her body. I realized I had to take some actions immediately. I soon went to the nearby hospital and bought some medicine. Then I came back home and cooked noodles for her as supper. Then I helped her get up, take the medicine and noodles. I stayed with her until midnight and told her everything is gonna be ok. Fortunately, she felt much better the next day and recovered perfectly when Dad came back home. They were proud of what I had done. I believe we are supposed to help and protect our mom because she loves us most.
