accuse与charge的区别是什么

to accuse someone of doing something wrong, 意为指控某人犯了错误。例如：someone can be accused of being dishonest, or of a fault like laziness.意为某人被指责不诚实或懒惰等过错。to be accused of a crime意思是被指控犯罪。

He himself was accused of incompetence.
他本人被指控为不称职。

• charge:  an official claim made by the police that sb has committed a crime

它常用来指较重的错误或罪行,往往带有“正式法律控告”的意味。用于引伸的意义时,也可指非正式的指责。常和“with”连用,含有罪过严重和宣布正式的意思。

accuse必须搭配of才能表示“指控，控告”的意思，并且只能做动词，charge的搭配就多了，做名词和动词都可以。
